When the Marcus Johnson Memorial Foundation was established, we immediately felt that one of the best ways to remember Marcus would be to hold an Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in his honor. The Tournament is a special basketball event to remember him and continue to
grow the Foundation. This growth will provide new basketball shoes and assist with related basketball fees for student-athletes in need for many years to come. Our goal is to provide support beyond Sonoma County in the future.

We feel this approach embodies who Marcus was. He had an enormous heart and loved to help others. To have Marcus’ friends, and many other athletes who didn't even know him, playing for him and for what this Foundation stands for, touches all of us very deeply.
